  • Made of polypropylene which will not shrink or fade and is resistant to snagging twigs and other ground clutter
  • Washable and easy to maintain
  • Strong, durable and light weight

Our British Style Slip Lead (sometimes called English Style or just plain Slip Lead) is a leash and collar combined in one lead. These leads are very popular with agility trainers, dog handlers and average dog owners. They slip on and off easily and allow for precise touch control.

There are no small parts like clips, connectors or collar clasps that can break and allow the dog to become loose or run away. And, its simple design and the ease in which it can be placed on and taken off the dog, make it the perfect lead for our clients who suffer from arthritis.

Our British Style Slip Lead is made of polypropylene – a superior choice for a lead of this type.  Unlike cotton, nylon or metal, polypropylene:

  • Won’t shrink or fade from repeated washing
  • Has UV protection built in
  • Is soft to the touch and won’t scratch floors
  • Does not become heavy when wet
  • Doesn’t pose a risk to your pet like metal cords and extension devices or retractable lead

Always keep your dog’s safety in mind when using any lead or collar and giving corrections. Slip leads should never be used in a crate or with dogs that have delicate tracheas, such as Yorkshire Terriers. Ask a local professional if you are not familiar with how to use this lead.

Color Disclaimer

Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, product colors may appear different on different monitors and may not accurately portray the color of the actual product. Leather products are especially prone to color variances due to differences in the grain of the leather, the dye lot and the absorption of the dye.

Suggested Uses

The British Style Slip Lead can be used for:

  1. An Every Day Lead
  2. Use it to take your dog for his or her daily walks. The quick on and off feature of this lead make it perfect for when you want to move the dog from one location to another.
  1. Training
  2. As a training tool, it allows the dog feel the pressure when walking too far off the heel position. Our clients also keep the lead on puppies in the event quick corrections are required.

WHY DEVELOPED

HEALTHY EARS was developed by Aunt Lyn after years of trying different proprietary blends on both her own dogs and dogs brought to her for care. Ear infections have become increasingly common and can be very painful for our pets. Often we don't see any sign at all, yet they're in pain. Other times we can see the head shaking and ear scratching that are clues that something is amiss.

One dog, Harley, was a mastiff mix rescue that was at the veterinarian's for ear infections every few months. Aunt Lyn knew the pharmacy prescriptions were not working and that repetitive use was not good. In addition, Harley was miserable . Besides some dietary changes, Aunt Lyn used Healthy Ears to get rid of the ear infections and maintain proper ear health and balance. Wel,l Harley became the first in a long line of pups to benefit from the this Healthy Ear Blend that we still use today.

So, be on the lookout for signs of ear problems and use HEALTHY EARS to bring relief. But remember, it is important that you find out what caused the problem so it doesn’t happen again.

Check out our Blog to read tips how we can help our dogs stay in balance.

SUGGESTED USES/TIPS

For Ear Irritations and Issues

Clean ear gently with mineral oil or warm water. Apply 3 drops, twice daily, into the entrance of the ear canal. Tilt the dog's head while you massage the dog's outer ear so oils move down the ear canal. If there is no improvement after a few days, please consult a veterinarian.

For Maintenance:

Lightly clean the ear and place 3 drops weekly into the ear canal and massage as described above. Some dogs may need less or more frequent applications.
